Notifications

  • BTLE support notifications. We might be able to push data. It needs testing... range might suck, but apparently the BTLE spec has higher range anyway. Who knows if that'll work when the thing is buried inside a charge case, and I'm on the other side of the ranch.

  • Transport Discovery: sounds like the ticket. If only I knew what I was doing. Hah!

BTLE

  • Already installed as part of Hypriot 1.4 (version 5.23)
  • Must be configured to come on when powered (see /etc/bluetooth/main.conf, AutoEnable=true).
  • Might need experimental features (add --experimental to /lib/systemd/system/bluetooth.service)
