When setting balance types, if I say "fast" but specify my own values, what does the charger do?

• Does it use them?
• Does it ignore them, use the balance_speed value and set it's own bal_diff, bal_set_point, bal_over_point and bal_delay?

If the later, then I don't need to provide presets in the UI. If however I can overwrite these values, even when specifying bal_speed of, say, 2 (fast), then either the UI or server will need to validate/set these presets.
