I am trying to learn how to use HA and add new things . I am just getting started with programming and understanding ESP stuff. I was trying to install your Garage Door config files (https://github.com/johnboiles/homeassistant-config/blob/master/esphome/garage_door.yaml). I successfully got my D1 Mini flashed and I can see that the device is now connected to my router. However, when I plugin the IP address it times out and does not offer any way to connect to it.

Can you help me out? Am I overlooking something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

HA wouldn't auto find the new devices once flashed. I figured out how to add them manually via the integrations tab. All appears to be working now.
