Not Responding and Slow Simple Report

Hi,

Downloaded the source code and played around with test projects. I tried increasing the items list of the Simple Report project to 1000. Loading 1000 items takes an average of ~15Kms which I guess is too long? Is there any work around to speed up the loading? Also while loading, screen becomes Not Responding when you tried to minimize or switch to other screen. Any work around on this as well?

At the Moment I've no Idea how to get it faster! I'm also not the orginal Author of the code...

But I've now implemented a Callback, so that you can show a progress how long it takes! Look at the Simple Report

Thanks for the wonderful update. However, I am encountering an exception when I tried placing an image in the template and then showing the progress. Any ideas? Thank you. Looks like the rendering should be in UI thread?
