Found some python code on my computer which led me to this repository

wanted to find some of my old python programs so I searched for all files with .py in them. Found some that were definetly not mine. A fragment of one of them said the following: #!/usr/bin/env python

from what I read this is a program that can track me and a lot more. I'm on macOS, so first things first can this program run on macOS ?
