ESP32-S2 board with different parts

Open dronecz opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

Hi,

I made some changes so I can use parts which I have at home. If you think that somebody else except me will benefit from this, pls accept this PR.

Thanks 😉

Let me think on the best way to do this. On the one hand I would probably want to make a separate folder for user-contributed designs (and have a filename that mentions the contributor), but on the other hand, I am definitely going to switch to this style of USB-C connector and might actually want to switch to an easier-to-solder MicroSD, so could see these changes going into the 'official' B1-01 revision. Hinges on whether I can find a footprint-compatible part on Digikey.

Either way, I will get to this pull request probably later this week.

Also, in reviewing the PCB, I think I did a poor job routing the USB signals in this first rev, so I might make a few other changes as well that could be useful to include on any alternative board.
