Light on the_stargazer demo (emulator) freezes

To reproduce: Mode Mode Light Mode stuck!

By just pressing Mode Mode Light, the light turns on, but does not go back to normal.

Confirmed that this issue is specific to the emulator; cannot replicate on hardware.
