The panel (without width setting), maximized windows, and fullscreen games all take both monitors when using multiple monitors.
- I don't think any sddm settings changed--but I may have changed versions:
- The issue may have started when I switched from Debian to Devuan.
- I didn't have to use the "width" option for my panel--It used to be limited to the width of the screen automatically, but now it spans both monitors unless I set width to "1920".
Should I use sddm or something else?
What "Dispay" app (display settings) application should I install? My old one seemed to go away when I installed Devuan and it got rid of Gnome, so whatever sddm or other possible xrandr commands elsewhere likely came from Gnome's "Display" application.
Also:
- Every time a program opens it sizes (not maximizes) to the two screens, and I have to resize every program every time.
- Full screen videos go to both screens.
- Wacom tablet may be off as well, but maybe this can be fixed with wacom config (I gave up on this sub-issue due to all of the various dual-monitor issues).
