Documentation suggestion
I am a beginner in AI models and searching for trained model for bird image classification. I have been brwosing this repo and documentation - also on Kaggle - for a while and it is nearly impossible to find out what media this model is traind for. After 5-10 minues I infer this is for recordings only without images.
I would find it a great idea to cover the goal of the project and the media content the model was trained with at least in a single sentence, it would really-really help sparing time.

I am also a user of birdnetlib, not a maintainer. This issue spurred me to re-read the README.md, and @lafrank is right - the only reference to sound at all is merely a topic, birdsong.
What about adding another topic (or two) as a solution? https://github.com/topics/audio, https://github.com/topics/acoustics, https://github.com/topics/sound all seem applicable.
