Logaritmic time axis

Hi,

this is not an issue, but a RFC about a potential feature of smoothiecharts.

Charts are dandy, they really are, but either they look live (fast moving charts) or not so much (if set too slow). If they move fast, there is almost no historic reference to compare to.

It would be splendid if charts would compress the x axis logarhitmically. This means that on the right side where data comes in, it would move fast, but as it progresses towards the left it would gradually slow down.

It is just an idea, but I can see myself using it for cluster management dashboard, for example.

Yes, I do, but not at the moment ("time is always against us").

I am forking your repo to remind me about this conversation in a month (or three).

Obviously I never found time for this, so pointless to keep it open indefinitely. :/
