[Feature Request] Add basic keyboard shortcuts to http://dillinger.io/

I'm using http://dillinger.io/ all the time, and overall it's fantastic! But one thing that would be great is keyboard shortcuts for doing the most common tasks:

  • Wrap selected text and create link syntax
  • Insert image code
  • Format code
  • Insert lists

etc

I tried StackEdit that has such shortcuts like Ctrl + L for creating a link, and it's a time saver when writing a document in MarkDown.

Just curious, so why are you not using StackEdit instead?

I've used that StackEdit as well, but the user experience, themes etc isn't as polished. Also, since I quite like Dillinger, I want to give constructive feedback on how to make it even better.

@robnyman yes, I would agree. If not for the feature sets on StackEdit. I would jump ship to Dillinger for the theme and editor syntax highlight.

How do I add an image using dillenger io? I tried ! Github image but dillenger io does not render it. Any clues?

@respanol the latest version has an image upload service available as long as you are connected with Dropbox
