An Error occured: Unable to save file: path cannot start with a slash
Save file to GitHub, found the error " An Error occured: Unable to save file: path cannot start with a slash"
I met the same issue, is there updates? looking forward to solve the problem ASAP:)
Well yes, you can't name a file with a slash. Not sure what to tell you.
I'm also receiving this error. It's only with Github. No slashes or spaces in the file name either. just lowercase letters, one word. Curious as to what this might be.
Could you write down steps, how to reproduce this error?
- open dillinger.io
- Click IMPORT FROM > GitHub
- Login to GitHub
- Dialog pops up, and I select a file, such as
README.md
- The file opens up.
- Edit the file any bit
- Click SAVE TO > GitHub
- Two popups occur at the same time
- Saving document to GitHub
- An Error occured: Unable to save file: path cannot start with a slash
Note: Files save OK to any other cloud based app. Error only with Github
I'm seeing the same issue with this any file I edit and I try to save into github, following the same process as @ccurtin.
When will be it fixed?
possible github API changed as I'm not sure as to why this is broken

The same error for me (like from @ccurtin reported)
