UI not working on secondary display
Clicking on the tray icon opens the menu, but can't click on any of the device options.
Tried installing from Windows Store and manually. Windows Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362
Do you get any notifications when that happens? Make sure you haven't disabled notifications globally or for Audio Redirect under Settings > System > Notifications & actions.
I have seen something similar happen before when some bloatware that came with my motherboard's drviers was preventing Audio Redirect from accessing a device. It should make a notification in that case though.
I should have all notifications on, though there isn't an entry to toggle "Audio Redirect" specifically. I'm not seeing anything. ^^;
I just started trying to use the software today. Haven't gotten the UI to work thus far. Doesn't respond to clicking/mouseover at all.
If there's anything specifically I should try uninstalling lemme know.
After leaving my computer on standby overnight, now it's magicallly working? ^^;
Ah I think I figured it out. My primary display is where my start bar usually starts up and I have it set to primary because it's where I play my games.
But, I often drag my start bar to my other monitor so I can still use the Notification Area Icons while I have a fullscreen game running or etc. Hadn't run into a problem with that so far, BUT Audio Redirect doesn't work when I drag the bar to my second monitor. It DOES work when it's back on my primary monitor. Can pretty easily drag the start bar back and forth and see it work on primary and not work on secondary.
Ooh. I haven't really tested it on my secondary monitor. I probably won't have much time to look at it soon, but I'll try to figure out what's wrong when I do have time.
Sure sure! At least I know how to make it work!
