if you mess up while making a shape how do we backup or delete? how do we start again?

Hi, sorry for my extremely delayed reply. Unfortunately, there's no way at present to start afresh. This is extremely high up on my priority list, and I've added a start afresh option there too, and will be available next update. I might be busy for a little while, but I'll post here with progress.
