Thanks @shuther that project looks great, It has the flexibility of back end storage I was looking for, will give that a go, it might fit better for user settings...

Update: I would like to withdraw request for DuckDuckGo and suggest [SearXNG](https://github.com/searxng/searxng) instead, way better results for LLMs (using it in another project) and self hostable.
