Feature Request: Replace 'Award' button with 'Save' button on New New UI
By default the 'Award' button is available on-screen everywhere right through out the website with the New New UI on https://www.reddit.com/ & https://sh.reddit.com, while the 'Save' button by default is unfortunately demoted to the overflow menu which requires the user to click the three dot overflow menu button so that it expands to reveal 'Save'.
The 'Save' button is arguably one of the most important and useful functions on Reddit, while the 'Awards' button is useless and a waste of space.
If there was a way to at least give everybody the option to 'replace' certain button UI elements, (like in this case the 'Award' button with the 'Save' button) then that would be very convenient.
So effectively what I am requesting is for the 'Save' button to be where the 'Awards' button was, while the 'Award' button itself gets hidden within the overflow menu.
Here is a side-by-side image I made to show you what I mean specifically. The "Before" image is the way the New New UI looks now, and the "After" image is the request I have made:
Hi, sorry for the very late reply. In version 2.0.0, you can now hide the "Give Awards" button, and enabling the "Always Show Post Options" feature will put all the buttons in the overflow menu into the action bar after the "Share" button. You can also hide any of the buttons from the overflow menu from appearing in the action bar if you just want the "Save" button :)
