@joekickass Thank you for saving me tons of time writing this code.

I tried using https://github.com/odelot/aws-mqtt-websockets without success, so started using your library that works well with no issues on PIO. I wanted to port it to Arduino IDE and have created https://github.com/debsahu/esp8266-arduino-aws-iot-ws that is practically same code as yours but with slight modicifations to names. I have also provided proper attribution in the README.
