Calendar frontend: Listing all events by category

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A thought showed up. I have a few categories but no recent events. I wondered about the possibility of selecting a category to see all events past and future associated with it. As I might click a category in the bottom left of the calendar and not see any events in that category for the current month.

Describe the solution you'd like A method to where we can select a category on the calendar frontend and have it switch to a category view of all the events that use the category independent of the month.

Perhaps that would mean having a: Month - Week - Day - Category view at the top of the calendar.

I'm reluctant to add any views that are "all events past and future" - that could be views of thousands of events. The upcoming events shortcode/widget is already able to show a similar type of view, since it shows events based on a relationship to the current date.

I am thinking we can leave it open for now. I got to think a bit more about this aspect of it that might also touch upon other aspects of the calendar.
