SocksiPy-branch Dependency

Cloudfusion seems to have a dependency on socksipy. Socksipy is now abandoned and has been largely replaced by PySocks. Would it be possible to switch Cloudfusion over to use PySocks instead (Which I believe is a drop in replacement)?

(I ask as Gentoo Linux has removed the Socksipy package as abandoned making Cloudfusion considerably harder to package)

For reference: The SockiPy dependency comes from gsutil and if you install net-misc/gsutil things work.
