State low after timer wrong?

Open glsf91 opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

According to the manual of my remote (5360150) the state of the fan when the timer is done, is the previous state. Only when the previous state was High, the fan goes to the state low or auto depending on which one is choosen as last.

This plugin is always going to the state low which is not matching the fan (always).

I am aware of this in the documentation and the design flaw, but in my use cases the timer function is choosen from a previous low or high state, so a return to the low state fits in 99% of all cases. In the current use case i don't even use the manual remote anymore and the fan is controlled by a homecontroller (Home assistant). Feel free to create a patch who remembers the previous state before the timer function was activated and return ater expiration to the previous state. Maybe with a new stable release of ESP EASY i will poke this in the plugin.

I am facing this issue also. Is there a way to get around this? I am also controlling the Itho through Home Assistant. When the timer ends it goes back to 'low' but my fan is on the medium (auto) state for 99.9% of the time..
