I prepared some fixes to the IMAP handling code of the messages API. Once they landed, I can merge [this](https://github.com/cleidigh/EditEmailSubject-MX/commit/e4503d4f1a37bca6f2d37e48d66c30102f151aab) and release a new version of EES.
I added a backup option (enabled by default) to allow users to get back the original message. I will keep investigating the actual issue reported here. https://github.com/cleidigh/EditEmailSubject-MX/commit/c50d42d721e7178afd1c4b4f997c35af69c18162

Please try v7.2 in Thunderbird 115 or newer: https://github.com/cleidigh/EditEmailSubject-MX/releases/tag/v7.2 Does that fix your issue? Edit: Released v7.2

Sadly, I cannot confirm on this. * What OS and what version of TB? * Does it still happen in TB128?
This has nothing to do with 115. I simply changed the method of how I work with messages in 115. Looks like your server does not like it. The issue...
