"strict_max_version": "138.*" in manifest.json prevent TB 139 to use the add-on
once the manifest.json modified to allow TB 139 the plugins works :)
For this I manually downloaded the master commit, modified the manifest.json, remove one directory level to repacked as zip and manually install the add-on
Thanks, that perfectly works. 1- I downloaded the xpi (2 modules are impacted for my configuration ; also exchange active sync). 2- I changed xpi to zip. 3- I modified the 2 manifest.json, changed 138.* to 139.* in both. 4- I changed zip to xpi 5- I manually imported the 2 modules and activated them 6- That works !!!
Not that it saves much time, but after you've zipped the changes, you don't have to change zip to xpi. Thunderbird will install if it's .zip.
Could someone be so kind as to explain where this is found and just how to modify for those of us not so savvy in this? I am missing my dang tbsync terribly bad Thank you
Can you post your .zip files. I don't know how to create them with the fix. Thanks.

I am with you. I don't have the knowledge or ability
Here are the .zip files with the modified manifest.json.
For those of us that can't Thank you so much having the calendar back is such a time saver for me in my daily calendars and sharing with others Some days it is the simple things
For the super lazy: download both of these: EAS-4-TbSync.zip TbSync.zip
- Open Thunderbird
- Click settings (cog in bottom left)
- Click Add-ons and Themes (also bottom left)
- Click the settings cog next to "Manage your extensions" at the top-ish of this new page
- Click Install Add-on from file
- Select one of the downloaded files
- Repeat for the other downloaded file
- ???
- Profit
This method also works with the new 140 version
Thank you. I can and have been doing it myself each time it's been needed, but that saves me the hassle.
Thanks for the links to the updated plug-ins.
Does anyone have an ETA if/when the exchange server support will be built-in?
THANK YOU!!!
