Python doesnt install on Windows Server Edition

Python doesnt install on Windows Server Edition, hence further installation stops. Altough python download in temp folder, it gets deleted without installation

Hi, thanks for the input. I admit I never tried this on WS only on W7 And W8. Unfortunately, I don't have access to an adequate environment to test that scenario at this moment. Meanwhile, was there any error message that could shed some light on the cause of the problem?

The only error messages shown are for pip and further installation as python is not available . Manually installing python and running the script works just fine.

This issue is evident only in Windows Server Edition 2012 R2, for other editions the script works fine
