Migarting to core
Hi there,
I'm planning to purchase an Intesis device that uses the WMP protocol, and I'm interested in migrating your Intesis WMP integration to the Home Assistant Core repository.
I noticed that there's already an existing IntesisHome integration developed by @jnimmo in the core repository. I believe adding support for the WMP devices would be a valuable addition to Home Assistant and benefit many users.
I'm willing to take on the migration process myself, but I wanted to check with you first to ensure you're comfortable with this and see if you have any preferences or guidance.
Please let me know your thoughts!

It's open source so I'm more than happy with you migrating it over. If you do, I would appreciate it if @jnimmo and myself can be marked as owners for the components.
I would add some context though - in my experience, contributing to the core repo can be frustrating. Reviews can take months, and sometimes the maintainers can be abrasive (in fairness, I think this has been getting better). I haven't had any real issues with the custom component path, and so there has been very little incentive to migrate things over.
Sounds more than reasonable 👍🏻, I don't know yet when I'm going to start but I'll let you know.
