Site header UX issues

I think site header needs review!

• Very middle and top element of page is search box which is useless for news blogs (search is useful for article-base blogs).
• Also links (github, rss, etc) are informatics and putting them at top middle of page is a bit ... :/
• There is no contact and about. Faq links is similiar to about-us but it's not.
• It's great if Login and Signup got merged as a popup (js popup, not ugly window.open() popup).
• Home link is very confusing. I tried clicking logo and "تازه‌ترین خبرها" to found out that "تازه‌ترین خبرها" is homepage! Locating "خبری جدید بنویسید" link (which should be button-like link) closing "تازه‌ترین خبرها" make it a tool not an access link. So i think it's better to style "تازه‌ترین خبرها" to attract as a Home link, style "خبری جدید بنویسید" as tool button, throw search box somewhere as a magnifier icon, and find somewhere better for informatics links.

These just suggestions and i'm happy that nerdnews.ir (which i found it today) is open to listen to suggestions.
