Yes - in particular, it would be really helpful if modl's README included a quickstart program similar to the one in the gorp README.

I second this - I ended up using gorp after trying to refer to both pieces of documentation to figure out how to use modl. Judging by your design considerations, I think I'd prefer modl if I knew the API better.
