Unable to drop as a list on a multi-input slot

In this dummy project I can drop the variable on the options slot as a list on the bottom block but not the top one. It seems the inputs above and below 'options' interfere.

Hi Ken I can but had to be precise where I grabbed the options variable (bottom left)
