Removing emojis - still showing on dropdown menu

We require several of the emojis that are included to be removed.

We removed references to the emojis from the lib/js/config.js file

  • Config.Emoji
  • Config.EmojiCategories
  • Config.emoji_data

When we click on smiley, the dropdown menu / popup appears and still shows the removed emojis.

What else do we need to do to ensure that the removed emojis do not show up?
