Needs better documentation

Please add a bit of documentation and maybe an example in the readme. Not sure if I can reuse this component. I rather not have to resort to reading the source to find out.

A worthy point. The application is rather poorly documented because it was excised from etorrent. We needed it for another project. Alas, this often means you are making scissoring in anger, so documentation often suffer.

Another slight problem is the little thing called "time". You never have enough.
