The package python-imaging is no longer available in Ubuntu 18.xx. It has been replaced by python-pil.

The quick fix is to replace python-imaging in setup.sh with python-pil, so the application will run under Ubuntu 18.04. Alas, I don't have time right now to test in other environments.
