Consider fasd, z, enhancd and friends
There are a few of these. We should consider which is the best recommendation, perhaps listing all the main ones.

Any others?
percol
has prompted others to experiment more with interactive command line selection.
https://github.com/b4b4r07/enhancd is another. It also has this nice list of newer tools. Would be good to get some discussion/thought on all of these and mention the best ones:
- percol :point_right: percol adds flavor of interactive selection to the traditional pipe concept on UNIX
- peco :point_right: Simplistic interactive filtering tool
- hf :point_right: hf is a command line utility to quickly find files and execute a command
- fzf :point_right: fzf is a blazing fast command-line fuzzy finder written in Go
- gof :point_right: gof - Go Fuzzy
- selecta :point_right: Selecta is a fuzzy text selector for files and anything else you need to select
- pick :point_right: Pick is "just like Selecta, but faster"
- icepick :point_right: icepick is a reimplementation of Selecta in Rust
- sentaku :point_right: Utility to make sentaku (selection, 選択(sentaku)) window with shell command
There is also sk https://github.com/lotabout/skim, I use that rather than fzf, it's the same anyway.
