Support for WebGL

Hello,

is it possible to enable WebGL in the dockerized Firefox? What is blocking Firefox from using WebGL?

Regards, Andy

I guess the issue is the access to the hardware acceleration. I'm not sure how this is done, I would have to check.

hello there. this question is already old but I would love to have a container with nvidia support. At this times it is easily to use nvidia into a container. I just dont know how to use it on firefox. I have some container like plex, photoprism, librephotos and jellyfin who are able to use ffmpeg with nvidia.

Do u maybe know how to bring this to work? I found other some maybe interesting links: https://github.com/andrewmackrodt/dockerfiles/tree/master/firefox-x11

Since I relied on WebGL-Support, I've since switched to this container: dorowu/ubuntu-desktop-lxde-vnc

Unfortunately Nvidia Docker support is not working for Alpine-based containers...

Isn't WebGL support added here? Works fine for me anyhow:

webgl

Yes, WebGL is supported, but not hardware-accelerated.
