Extension app backend

So I run an extension in Firefox that has a helper app that runs in the background. I've been trying to use it with this Docker, but it doesn't detect the version so I have to manually add the extension. That fine, but I've tried installing the targz 64bir & 32bit versions, they didn't work, tried the debian 64bit & 32bit version which also didn't.

Is there something I'm missing? It is running on a Linux shell so why can't I get it to work?

So how are you trying to install the extension exactly ?
