Keyboard not working on mobile chrome

An odd question or issue. The keyboard pops out when you select keyboard but nothing gets entered in the field. Doing the same in Firefox on Android and the keyboard works fine.

I am also facing this issue. We had to use onscreen custom keyboard to navigate this issue. A built in support will be wonderful.
