Separated notes
I added the possibility to add an individual note for each annotation in a PDF file.
It can be activated with the setting pdfExtraction.separatedNotes and only works if pdfExtraction.colorNotes is false.
I also added the according title formation option pdfExtraction.formatNoteTitleSeparated which can use
%(title) The tile string same (as you would use the normal notes)
%(date) The date (as you would use the normal notes)
%(annoTitle) The title of the annotation
%(firstWords) The first five words of the contents of the annotation followed by ...
I know there is no way of voting for pull requests to be merged. But I would love to see this feature being integrated into the main branch.
Hi, I have downloaded zotfile-separated_notes.zip file and prepare .xpi file according to instruction. Then I tried to reinstalle zotfile but I got info, that it is impossible and this add on can be not compatible with my zotero (6.0.26). Is it possible to use it? Or what is the last version of zotero which this zotfile extension will work with?
update I have change in file install.rdf max version to 6.* and then I could install. Then I change settings according to first post and extract notes from pdf. But still extractings is to one note :( Do you know what can be a problem?
Sorry for stupid questions-I am not good in coding but I love zotfile;)
