Replacements dont seem to apply to variables when used in directories

My config has

"replace_after": {
    "&": "and",
    ";": ",",
    "@": "at",
    " ": "_"

},

but i get this ocessing Episode "Married at First Sight.S11E08.mp4" (635.42MB) no matches found ❱ Married at First Sight - 11x08 (best guess) skip quit moving to /media/Virtual/Videos/TV/Married at First Sight/Season-11/Married_at_First_Sight.S11E08.mp4 OK!

note the spaces in the directory name...

surely the replacements should be applied to the variables in the directory structures?

This occurs when --episode-format has a path in addition to the filename.
