Add explanation in empty screen

The CustomiseAppsFragment screen is empty and boring when there are no apps. According to this source, apps should have an explanation when users encounter an empty screen. Taking this into consideration I was thinking to put something along the lines:

With an explanation such as

Standing by... Add Apps to your home screen by pressing "Add"

Another idea (since unlauncher's icon is a rocket going down) is to use the downward rocket with earth in the background indicating that it is ready to enter the atmosphere. A text would be something like

Help the rocket enter the atmosphere by adding apps

These ideas are very unlauncher specific, however I think that the slimlauncher can also benefit from this (with a different image)

The screen to configure the buttons is quite empty as well...

On the other hand i like the launcher for not being too visually overwhelming.
