Cannot move tomboy to the top tray

Open amig opened this issue 12 years ago • 6 comments

I don't know why but everything is working as expected (hide the a11y, move skype and dropbox up), except for the tomboy icon that stays on the bottom message tray.

What am I doing wrong?

What's your configuration on dconf ?

icon-manager: desaturation-factor = 1.0 top-bar = ['a11y', 'tomboy', 'gtg', 'skype', 'dropbox', 'psensor']

I'm using similar settings for tomboy and it is working, which distribution do you use?

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.1 and Gnome 3.4.1.

I have now a new issue. I recovered my system from backup and gnome-shell crashed until I figured out that it is icon-manager fault.

@amig it seems that the problem is with missing schema, I really don't know why everything crash when the schema is missing (or even key in dconf) instead of throwing exception. Please reinstall schema following instruction in README.

The crash issue is solved as you suggested by manually copying the schema but the tomboy icon refuses to move up :(
