Release archive lacks files from submodule and fails to build

It's like #352, but this time about the release archive.

Specifically, I downloaded the archive from https://github.com/jknack/handlebars.java/archive/v4.1.2.tar.gz but failed to build it (by invoking mvn package) because of the missing files from handlebars/src/test/resources/mustache/specs.
