Discussed during the monthly call. JB in agreement with Daniel regarding only encoding where necessary. Also agreed above table would be an improvement.
Just a note, tbi isn't ideal as (I think) it limits chromosomes to 512MB. So *requiring* it may be detrimental in some circumstances. Bcftools supports CSI too which overcomes this...
