Cannot change font

Open videosmith opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

When adding --fn (e.g: DejaVu Sans 20) to the wvkbd-mobintl [OPTION]... no text is displayed. If just the size parameter is used (e.g.: 20) the font size changes.

Hmm, is this on the latest wvkbd version? I can't reproduce this on the latest wvkbd on wayfire-0.9.0-c4236d6

@videosmith Have you checked there was installed DejaVu Sans font in your environment?

Below is my environment on Fedora Linux 42.

$ ls -l /usr/share/fonts/dejavu-sans-fonts/
total 5556
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 645600 Jul 30  2016 DejaVuSans-BoldOblique.ttf
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 708920 Jul 30  2016 DejaVuSans-Bold.ttf

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 667844 Jul 30  2016 DejaVuSansCondensed-Bold.ttf

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 682828 Jul 30  2016 DejaVuSansCondensed.ttf
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 355824 Jul 30  2016 DejaVuSans-ExtraLight.ttf

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 759720 Jul 30  2016 DejaVuSans.ttf

$ rpm -qf /usr/share/fonts/dejavu-sans-fonts/
dejavu-sans-fonts-2.37-25.fc42.noarch

Maybe, people can install the font by the following command in Fedora Linux.

$ sudo dnf install dejavu-sans-fonts

You can check an installed font by the following command.

$ display /usr/share/fonts/dejavu-sans-fonts/DejaVuSans.ttf
