"Bad request" when downloading: request for workaround

Hello!

Downloading with ia download GothAndrewDeLeonAmazesTheJudgesWithHisVoice-u7dPlCzUG44 -C --verbose fails on some files, such as https://archive.org/download/GothAndrewDeLeonAmazesTheJudgesWithHisVoice-u7dPlCzUG44/GothAndrewDeLeonAmazesTheJudgesWithHisVoice-u7dPlCzUG44.thumbs/Goth%20Andrew%20De%20Leon%20Amazes%20The%20Judges%20With%20His%20Voice-u7dPlCzUG44_000225.jpg fails with HTTP error "400 Bad Request" (happens with other files in that "thumbs" directory, too).

Using the direct URL to the server at https://ia800306.us.archive.org/26/items/GothAndrewDeLeonAmazesTheJudgesWithHisVoice-u7dPlCzUG44/GothAndrewDeLeonAmazesTheJudgesWithHisVoice-u7dPlCzUG44.thumbs/Goth%20Andrew%20De%20Leon%20Amazes%20The%20Judges%20With%20His%20Voice-u7dPlCzUG44_000225.jpg works, though.

Would it be possible to detect this issue, and try the individual direct server URLs for when the "/download/" server gets confused like this? Thanks!

That item has been darked since, so it's now impossible to reproduce. Is there another known example?
