These things are not particularly difficult, they are just likely not features that have been demanded much. Also, depending on the state of the filesystem, recovering metadata may be impossible...

This project is currently nowhere near suitable for general use, IMO. There's not much functionality yet, and what functionality does exist is either lacking, unstable, or not yet documented well....

This is already supported via Authentication: Device Credentials, no? I use it and am prompted for either my phone's unlock pattern or biometrics, just like when unlocking my phone.
