Error extension Chrome 63.0.3239.108

When i add crx file to Chrome i get error: "This extension may have been corrupted". In Chrome ver 62 no error screenshot

Take a look at this PR: https://github.com/jitsi/jidesha/pull/36 It seems to me that google changed that update_url is a requirement now when installing extensions not from the webstore. As @hubertbanas had already pointed it. It is just Google not updating the documentation.

Ups, its not the documentation it is a bug: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=794219 Adding a dummy update_url is just a workaround.
