Getting Malformed or empty DogStatsD when trying to collect statsd message

Trying to collect statsd events on statsd_exporter (StatsD to Prometheus metrics exporter) It shows on received statsd message DEBU[0021] Malformed or empty DogStatsD tag in component #

I also checked with statsd It shows 22 Jan 12:32:28 - DEBUG: Bad line: 1,c,# in msg "jibri.stop:1|c|#"

What could be the issue? using jibri 7.1

Hm, not sure. There's a good chance the tag is just malformed for some reason. I don't remember much about the expected statsd format. @aaronkvanmeerten any ideas? Have we seen this?

To work with statsd_exporter need to write Metric Mapping and Configuration as mentioned here. After this, I am able to receive the jibri start-stop event on Prometheus. but still, a tag should have had a value which in our case coming empty.
