Project maintenance

The author of this package has apparently (?) abandoned this project. This is understandable. However, someone needs to fork it and take over maintenance...triaging issues, merging PR's, etc. It would be good if we could get @jithurjacob to give his blessing and make a note in the README about the new fork.

Even better would be if he'd transfer ownership of the current repo to someone new.

I'm not exactly volunteering as I barely use this package, but I'd take the job as a last resort if someone more involved in using it didn't step up.

I agree with you. Many critical bugs haven't fixed yet for years.
