Toolbar font colour doesn't match theme
So I installed the theme (from the website updater) to Eclipse Juno. (There are currently no updates for it) Version: Juno Service Release 1 Build id: 20121004-1855 I am also using the latest version of Darker Theme.
I am enjoying quite a bit! I'm glad I found this. However, when I use this darker theme on my Eclipse IDE, I am presented with the toolbar words in a black typeface. See the top right corner area for the example. I am guessing it should be something lighter, maybe white? The theme can change that, correct?
Hi, aav7fl, thanks for your detail report. You said is about the problem of the perspect bar's label. You are rgiht. This orignal version of this color in the eclipse-ui-themes is black. I have changed it to one bright color(DDD) in the plugin. But it seems that it only works for the linux/gtk+(my desktop env). I will test it in the windows for you in some recent point:)
Thank you very much.
sorry, this bug is a little long. let me see if I have time to see it this week...
Thanks!
the win32 version of Toolbar is totally different, and has problem obviously. I wil try one dirty hacking.
sorry, more investigations show that we only change the background widget for ToolItem in order to fix this problem. because the SWT ToolBar on win32 does not support coloring: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=36235
let's see if I have enough time in the future. sorry.
Hi,
problem still exists. Using Win8.1 x64.
Hi, @Catscratch, sorry, I have no enough time to maintain this project for a little long time, because my full energy has been put into another project.
I suggest you try @guari's ative-maintained theme project: https://github.com/guari/eclipse-ui-theme
