Webcam failing to render

On my recently deployed fashion search the webcam is failing to render anything:

1. Click red START button

2. This comes up and spins for about 10 seconds

3. It flashes a black portrait orientation box for a few seconds

4. It dumps me back to the initial webcam page

Settings:

(that's the only option in the menu)
