Suggestion for new tab redirect options...

I have a theme on my browser with a really cool background picture, but I can't find an option that will display only the background and nothing else when opening a new page. If the "about:blank" option just showed the background theme instead of an all white page, it would be perfect. The "chrome apps" option is the only one that lets the background show, but I don't even want the web store button there.

Anyway, just a suggestion. I'd love to be able to see the browser theme unobstructed every time I opened a new page. :)

Unfortunately, Chrome doesn't yet allow extensions to display your configured themes.

Late answer, but you might want to look at this: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hide-most-visited-pages-r/dhphmpoekpoecdbjeionimpiceigkeil

I just checked out the source for that extension. Very cool how it just modifies the default new tab page. It only hides the most visited links, though.

…by default. You can hide everything in the settings.
