SuperPutty freezes and then keyboard stops working until I press ALT key

Describe the bug While using SuperPutty , it freezes and not responding. Sometimes on executing commands there is some latency and a blue loading sign appears. After this, my keyboard starts behaving weird. It permanently keeps pressing the alt key, thus I need to press the ALT key again to unpress it then the keyboard starts working again. This only happens while using superputty and only when the loading sign comes.

  • Putty Version : 1.4.0.9
  • OS: [WINDOWS 10]

When replicating, it’s important to note that after a reboot it doesn’t happen right away. I have this issue also and it is very annoying and wastes a lot of my time. And it’s dangerous. The delay when switching from SuperPutty to any other window becomes greater and greater over time. If I reboot my laptop in the morning by afternoon I start getting delays and the AltKey issue. By the next day I may have a delay as long as 20-30 seconds. Then of course I need to reboot. It holds the AltKey down, and if you don’t know it you can be sending commands to apps without realizing it. In windows the AltKey brings up the windows file menu. Combined with the delay, I have had keystrokes buffered up so when the blue circle stopped spinning it ended up closing unsaved work. I am cautious about that now, but this is not just an annoying waste of time, it’s dangerous.
